As those of you who know me are aware, I love to read, and I have the books to show it! I have a closet library (okay, okay, it used to be a linen closet). I have a few small bookshelves here and there. Here is one I bought last summer. (Big Lots...$20.) It's squeezed in between my TV cabinet and a display shelf in the sitting room. There's a matching one on the other side of the TV cabinet.
For the fiction books I have read that I know are "keepers", I have been making book covers out of wrapping paper. (Think junior high brown grocery bag over your math book kind of cover.) The books are grouped according to author. When I'm looking for something new to read, it's very easy to tell what I haven't read yet. After I finish a book, if I think I will enjoy a re-read someday, I wrap it up. If I think I won't (most fall into this category), I donate the book to a thrift store here in town. Someone else gets to read it, and the money helps somebody else.
Think I'll grab one of these and a cup of tea, settle into my comfy chair, and enjoy a few hours of relaxation.
Blessings!
